Business PNP streams for International graduates Start-Up Visa Program Small Business Owners Australia Skilled Nominated Visa

Why not ! Foreign nationals seeking permanent residency in Canada can apply for a variety of business visas. Two immigration paths to permanent residency in Canada are the self-employed and start-up visa categories. Self-employed immigrants and ambitious start-up founders are welcome to relocate to Canada and create a company presence. Professional athletes, artists, and foreign nationals working in the arts and cultural field can apply for the self-employed visa and stay in the country permanently.

The most important aspect of the self-employed visa program is that it does not need applicants to invest any money in order to qualify. There is no criteria for net wealth. Instead, prospective applicants are just required to show verification of their sector experience. They must also be able to demonstrate that they are effectively self-employed. For a total score of 100 points, applicants are given points for their education (25), experience (35), age (10), language proficiency (24), and adaptability (6). To be considered for the visa stream, applicants must have a minimum of 35 points.

If you want to participate in this program, you must:

  • At least two years of professional work experience in your specialty is required.
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • Have a genuine desire to settle in any Canadian province or region
  • Be able to communicate well in English and devoted to contributing to Canada’s cultural, economic, and social prosperity
  • Meet security standards in terms of health, character, and other factors.
  • Have enough money prepared enough to assist them during their first few months in Canada.
