The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently conducted its latest round of Express Entry invitations. On July 12th, a draw targeting French-speaking candidates took place, inviting 3,800 individuals with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 375. This draw encompassed candidates from various programs, including the Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades, and Provincial Nominee Program.

The draw implemented a tie-breaking rule that came into effect on June 15, 2023, at 23:49:05 UTC. In cases where multiple candidates shared the minimum CRS score, only those who submitted their Express Entry profiles before this specified date and time were selected.

In another recent draw on July 11, 2023, an ‘no program specified’ Express Entry draw sent invitations to 800 profiles with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 505 or above.

With a total of 4,600 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued this week in two draws, it is unlikely that another draw will occur in the near future. However, considering the surprises often seen from IRCC, it is worth staying updated for any new information.

As of now, IRCC has invited a total of 69,148 profiles in 22 Express Entry draws conducted throughout this year.
