Manitoba Issues 275 Invitations in Recent PNP Draw

In a draw held on January 25, Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program issued 275 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs). The draw encompassed three MPNP streams, with 156 LAAs designated for Skilled Workers in Manitoba who completed post-secondary studies in the province, achieving a minimum score of 772 points. Furthermore, 78 LAAs were granted to candidates in the International Education Stream, while the remaining 41 LAAs were allocated to Skilled Workers Overseas candidates through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, with a minimum score of 713.

Qualification for Skilled Worker Streams:

Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream (SWM):

• Manitoba Work Experience Pathway: For those currently working in Manitoba or international graduates.
• Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway: For overseas applicants with job offers from approved Manitoba employers.

Skilled Worker Overseas Stream (SWO):

• Manitoba Express Entry Pathway: For international candidates eligible under another MPNP stream with an active Express Entry profile.
• Human Capital Pathway: For international skilled workers with In-Demand Occupations skills and training.

Requirements for International Education Stream (IES):

The IES is dedicated to international graduates from Manitoba colleges and universities, with three pathways:

Career Employment Pathway:

• Completed a one-year or longer course from an eligible post-secondary Manitoba institution within three years.
• Full-time job offer in a Manitoba In-Demand occupation related to the completed degree.
• Resident of Manitoba.

Graduate Internship Pathway:

• Masters and Doctoral degree holders who have completed Mitacs Accelerate or Elevate internships.

Student Entrepreneur Pathway:

• Completed a two-year or longer course from an eligible post-secondary Manitoba institution.
• Six months of business operation experience in Manitoba.
• Resident of Manitoba since graduation.
• No specific minimum personal net worth requirement.
