Manitoba has held a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw under Expression of Interest (EOI) system on December 17, 2020. The draw issued the Letter of Advice to Apply to the candidates of Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education Stream.

The number of candidates and the ranking score are as follows:

Skilled Workers in Manitoba:

  • Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 329
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 375

Skilled Workers Overseas:

  • Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 50 (invited directly by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative)
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 706

International Education Stream:

  • Out of 419 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, 37 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code.

  • The candidates were directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative
  • Candidates invited under the Express Entry sub-stream who does not have a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code and verifiable experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list will be refused.

If candidate’s score is higher than cut-off score, but they did not receive a Letter of Advice to Apply, it could be because of following reason:

  • Candidate has indicated that they have taken an approved third-party language test but has not provided a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no longer valid
  • Candidate have indicated that they have received an Invitation to Apply to the MPNP under a Strategic Initiative, but did not provide a valid Invitation Number
  • Please note that for each question in EOI, help text is available, providing detailed information on the information you should enter. If one of these scenarios applies to you, you may wish to update your EOI with the correct information in order to be considered for the next draw from the EOI pool

Candidates who indicated that they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in Manitoba have been selected in this draw. Manitoba may not accept or refuse the full application in case the candidates are not actually working in a regulated occupation and/or fail to provide the proof of having gone under necessary licensing steps to be employed in Manitoba. In such case, candidate may decline the Letter of Advice to Apply.
