Among the invited individuals in this latest MPNP draw, 26 possessed both a job seeker validation code and a valid Express Entry profile, highlighting the province’s emphasis on individuals poised to make significant contributions to Manitoba’s economy.

The breakdown of invitations in the February Manitoba PNP draw showcases the diverse streams through which candidates were selected:

Skilled Worker in Manitoba:

  • Invitations: 151
  • MPNP Cutoff Score: 619

Profiles with close relatives in Manitoba were given priority, emphasizing the value placed on family connections in the selection process. Candidates with Manitoba supporters who are close family members, Canadian permanent residents or citizens, long-term residents of Manitoba, and have resided in the province for at least a year were prioritized.

International Education Stream:

  • Number of Invitations: 83

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria of the International Education Stream (IES) received invitations, demonstrating Manitoba’s commitment to retaining international graduates from designated institutions.

Skilled Worker Overseas:

  • Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 48
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 713

This stream comprised profiles specifically invited under the MPNP Strategic Recruitment Initiative, highlighting the province’s targeted approach to addressing specific skill shortages.

As of January 31, due to the high volume of MPNP applications, processing obligations exceeded six months from the application submission date.
