  • February 25, 2022

On February 24, Ontario invited 818 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited candidates who may be entitled to the Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream. These potential nominees needed to have a profile in the Express Entry system with either (CRS) Comprehensive Ranking System score between 359 and 600

The maximum number of points that Express Entry candidates can receive without a provincial nomination is 600. Prior to the February 22 draw, candidates whose CRS score was above the maximum range would not be eligible to apply for the nomination.

Candidates who created an Express Entry profile between February 24, 2021, and February 24, 2022 were invited.

Those who received an invitation now have 45 calendar days to submit their application for Ontario’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
