Overview of Quebec Arrima and Skilled Worker Program

Quebec Arrima is a free online platform used by Quebec to manage skilled worker applications, similar to the federal Express Entry system. Applicants who are eligible and interested in immigrating to Quebec can create and submit their profile in the Arrima portal to be considered in draws for the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP or RSWP).

Once a candidate creates their online profile, it is valid for one year and they may receive an invitation to apply for permanent residency. The processing period for the Quebec Skilled Worker Program is currently 20 months, according to a March 7 IRCC update.

After receiving an invitation, candidates can submit the required paperwork and apply for an open work permit while they wait for their file to be processed.
