Canada has conducted its second Express Entry draw of the year, issuing 1,040 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under the General category.

The draw, which took place on January 23, featured a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 543 points—three points lower than the previous all-program draw on January 10, 2024, where 1,510 ITAs were issued.

The tie-breaking rule was implemented on  January 21, 2024 at 07:43:47 UTC,  determining invitations for candidates with the same CRS score. Only those who submitted Express Entry profiles before this date and time received invitations.

  • In 2023, Canada conducted 19 all-program draws and various targeted draws, contributing to a total of 110,266 ITAs.
